The Dashboard is your home base in OffiByte. It provides a quick overview of your practice and shortcuts to your most important information.
Dashboard Layout
The dashboard displays several key widgets:
Matter Overview
Four cards showing the count of matters by type:
- Civil matters
- Criminal matters
- Family matters
- Commercial matters
These counts update in real-time as matters are created or closed.
Reminders
Shows your pending reminders with their due dates. Click View All to see your complete reminders list.
Upcoming Events
Displays events scheduled in the next 7 days, including hearings, meetings, and deadlines. Events are color-coded by type for quick identification.
Announcements
Organization-wide announcements and notices from your administrators.
Sidebar Navigation
The left sidebar provides access to all features:

The sidebar can be collapsed by clicking the collapse button at the bottom, giving you more screen space for content.
Header Bar
The top header contains:
- Organization Selector (left) — Switch between organizations
- Tenant/Office Selector — Switch between office branches
- Search (magnifying glass icon) — Global search across all entities
- Notifications (bell icon) — View recent notifications with unread badge
- Language Switcher (globe icon) — Change UI language
- Profile Menu (avatar) — My Account, Switch Organization, Logout
Keyboard Shortcuts
- Cmd+K / Ctrl+K — Open Universal Search
- Click the sidebar items or use the navigation to move between features
